Is Jazz Dead

This is a documentary I directed while taking part in the BFI Film Academy in 2024.

After pitching the idea of making a documentary about the recent resurgence of jazz with young people, I was chosen to direct this film. All aged 16 - 18, we shot it over two days with very limited time to edit. I learnt a lot from making this, as well as getting to work with a really great team of people a similar age.
